Impact Gressel made it two assists from two matches as he continues his hot start to his first full season with Vancouver. When at his best Gressel is a legitimate MVP candidate and he seems to be a this absolute best in a poor Vancouver side. The midfielder has already matches his assist total during his short stint with Vancouver in 2022, and seems set to marshal the midfield in 2023.

Impact Gressel subbed in for the final half hour of Wednesday's match and he set up a Tosaint Ricketts strike against Los Angeles with an impressive downfield pass. It was his second assist in 10 appearances since joining Vancouver in July.
