Returning to Leipzig Masanka has returned to RB Leipzig after the end of his loan spell with the New York Red Bulls.

Impact Masanka joined NYRB in February, but he made two appearances at the MLS level and five more in the MLS Next Pro. He's a 19-year-old prospect who's yet to make his first-team debut with Leipzig, so another loan for the 2026/27 campaign isn't out of the question.

Impact Masanka is heading across the pond for the next few months, picking up a loan with New York through June 30. The midfielder is expected to then see decent time, likely working off the bench as a rotational option. He has yet to appear for the Leipzig first team, so this is a big jump for the Belgian.
