Impact Martin is working his was back to the pitch after missing last match with a shoulder injury. He's been able to work his way up to a favorite to start since joining the side in November, having made four starts in the last six appearances, totaling 11 tackles, nine crosses (one accurate) and five chances created in that span. If the midfielder needs to sit out again, then Diego Rico will see the start again for the clash with las Palmas.

Impact Martin left Getafe's previous match against Villarreal in the first half, and he didn't recover in time to face Barcelona. Another former Blaugrana player, Carles Alena, could move into the starting lineup as his replacement, while Martin's next chance to play will come against Las Palmas on March 2. Martin has made five starts this season, with four of them coming across Getafe's last five matches.

Impact Martin gained only his second start of the season Monday but did not let his time go to waste, notching two chances created, two interceptions and four crosses in the win. The attacker continues to struggle to get time in the first team, being included in the club's past 10 team sheets despite only playing four times. He seems to run the flank well when on the field, whipping in 14 crosses in 208 minutes of play, so we will hope to get more time in future matches, but he may have to get on the scoresheet before that comes.
