Moves to LAFC McCarthy has signed a one-year contract with LAFC with the option to extend for an additional year after moving from Inter Miami as a free agent.

Impact McCarthy kept three clean sheets in 22 MLS appearances during his two seasons in Miami, but he slipped behind Nick Marsman in the depth chart when the Dutch goalkeeper transferred from Feyenoord in July. The 29-year-old McCarthy now moves to LAFC, where he will compete with Tomas Romero and Maxime Crepeau for the starting spot in goal.
