Impact Whitworth made his Premier League debut Wednesday in place of the injured Vicente Guaita (hamstring) and Sam Johnstone (calf), but he was beaten by an early Solomon March strike in the 15th minute of the game. This was Whitworth's first ever senior team appearance for Palace, and the 19-year-old should return to the bench once the more experienced keepers return to fitness.
