Impact Owono has now trained two weeks in a row and looks more than likely to be an option Friday. However, he will not see the start and is likely to continue in his reserve role, as Adrian Rodriguez was deemed the expected. This is still good news, as once they gain Antonio Sivera back from suspension they will have all of their first time goalies healthy.

The 23 year old did not record a save, but the goals he conceded were a penalty and a close-range shot. He did manage to complete six of his ten long ball passes. Owono will likely serve as Deportivo Alvaes' starting keeper until Sivera can return, and his first real test will come when the team hosts Girona on January 11.

Back from international duty Owono has returned from playing with Equatorial Guinea at AFCON and should be in contention against Barcelona on Saturday.
Impact Owono started all four matches for Equatorial Guinea, conceding four times while earning just one clean sheet.
