Signs with Minnesota United Rodriguez has completed a transfer to Minnesota United on a six-month deal until the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Friday. The deal also includes an option until December 2026.

Impact Rodriguez spent the 2025 Apertura with Club Leon in Liga MX, tallying three goals and two assists across 14 appearances (10 starts), but he was never able to be the difference-maker the club expected. Rodriguez might not be the dominant playmaker he was during his prime, but he should be an above-average player at the MLS level if he stays healthy. If he's fit to play in the season opener against Austin FC on Feb. 21, he should be a starter right away.
