Impact Heskey is back with his parent club after a half-season on loan, spending the first half of the 2025/26 campaign with Manchester City 2 before moving to Sheffield Wednesday. He would see far from what he would've wanted while on loan, as the forward earned two assists with Manchester City 2 in 13 appearances but not a single goal contribution in 20 appearances with Sheffield. At age 20, he has plenty of time to grow his game and make space for a role on the first team, although his 2026/27 campaign will likely be met by another loan.
