Signs new deal with Charlotte Walker has signed a first-team contract with Charlotte FC through the 2026 campaign after spending the previous season at MLS Next Pro side Crown Legacy, the team announced Friday.

Impact Walker gives Charlotte a third goalkeeper option in addition to Kristijan Kahlina and Tyler Miller. The 25-year-old is still unlikely to play in the top division but will be one step closer to first-team action in upcoming competitions. He previously averaged 3.2 saves and 1.8 goals conceded per game with the reserve squad.

Training away from group Walker is training away from the group due to a shoulder injury and is not expected back any time soon, Top Bin 90 reports.
