Next weekend will be a huge clash against fellow relegation candidates Everton, which have scored just 16 goals in 21 matches this season, the worst record in the division.

Impact Leeds United was leading 2-0 in the first half, but Meslier couldn't keep the lead and conceded two goals in the second half. He's now allowed multiple goals in three of his last five starts, and Leeds' defensive problems have prevented him from becoming a reliable fantasy asset.

Concedes two goals to Villa Meslier made three saves but conceded two goals in Friday's 2-1 defeat against Aston Villa.

Concedes twice in draw Meslier made zero saves and two clearances in Wednesday's 2-2 draw to West Ham.

Impact Meslier had a game to forget, conceding once in each in half in the only two shots he faced during the match. That was his second game in the season with no saves, while he still has only three clean sheets in 17 starts. The goalkeeper will look to bounce back at Aston Villa on Jan 13.

Keeps clean sheet versus Newcastle Meslier made five saves and kept a clean sheet during Saturday's scoreless draw against Newcastle.

Impact Meslier was one of the biggest reasons why his side could escape with at least one point despite seeing the opposition controlling most of the match. After conceding 19 goals over his previous eight starts, the goalkeeper stepped up against Newcastle's powerful attack and guaranteed his third clean sheet of the season with some big saves. Now he'll try to keep it up during Wednesday's home clash against West Ham.

Six saves in loss Meslier made six saves and allowed three goals in Wednesday's 3-1 defeat versus Manchester City.

Impact Meslier faced nine shots and could have conceded far more goals with better finishing from the City attackers. This was always going to be one of the toughest matches on the calendar, though with a shaky defense in front of him every match has been tough for Meslier. He has just two clean sheets in 15 starts, putting him on pace for another disappointing clean sheet total.

Will start against Manchester City Meslier (illness) will be in the starting XI versus Manchester City on Wednesday.

Impact Meslier was in doubt after picking up an illness but appears to be ready to don the gloves for the team. Despite making 21 saves in his last seven contests, Meslier remains in a clean sheet drought, one that he will be hard-pressed to end versus Man City.

Impact Meslier is looking to return to the starting XI for a Wednesday clash with Manchester City and he should be able to do so if he passes Friday's test. The goalkeeper would be replaced by Joel Robles if he's unable to return before Wednesday's match against the reigning champions.

Impact Based on Marsch's comments, Meslier should be able to return to training in the relatively near future but will almost certainly miss the club's next friendly against Real Sociedad on 16 December. Leeds returns to league competition 28 December against Manchester City, and the keeper will hope to recover and train with his sights on returning for that matchup. Backup Joel Robles started Thursday's scrimmage with Elche and will hold down the fort in the meantime.

Concedes four in defeat Meslier made three saves (four goals conceded) during Saturday's 4-3 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

Impact Meslier simply wasn't good enough to try and steal a result for his side in this one. It's now been seven matches since the keeper has posted a clean sheet, and he probably won't claim one against Manchester City when EPL returns from the World Cup break. Given how Leeds like to play, Meslier is a matchup-dependent option most match weeks.

Saves two in win Meslier conceded three, made two saves and a punch in Leeds 4-3 win over Bournemouth on Saturday.

Impact Meslier was overall uninspiring on Saturday. His two saves were quality efforts, a brave run out to intercept Jefferson Lerma in a one-on-one situation and denying a Kieffer Moore header. Though Leeds pulled off a dramatic comeback win, the Frenchman is hindered by a weak defensive line. From 13 appearances (all starts) he has conceded 22, made 41 saves and delivered just two clean sheets. It's been six matches since his last clean sheet and it is unlikely he will improve that statistic in Leeds next, an away fixture against Tottenham.

Brilliant in win Meslier made nine saves and four clearances in Saturday's 2-1 victory against Liverpool.

Impact Meslier faced 10 shots from an eager Liverpool attack and stopped nine of them in a brilliant showing. The goalkeeper earned every bit of the win with what his best performance in the opening 12 matches. Meslier likely won't stand up to this sort of volume so well moving forward but Saturday's performance does show off the ceiling for Meslier. With just two clean sheets in 12 matches and seven in his last 50 Premier League matches, Meslier doesn't offer great clean sheet odds.

Concedes three in loss Meslier made a save and allowed three goals in Sunday's 3-2 loss to Fulham.

Impact Meslier has been on a poor run of games with another match of allowing multiple goals. He started the season with just five goals allowed in five matches, but now has conceded 13 in the last six. This brings his average of goals allowed to 1.6 a match with 2.7 saves a game. It will not get any easier for the Frenchman with a trip to Liverpool on Saturday, who have scored 14 goals in the last seven matches

OCTOBER 23, 2022 • ROTOWIRE

Concedes two at Leicester City Meslier conceded two goals and made one clearance during Thursday's 2-0 loss to Leicester City.

Impact Meslier was a bit hung out to dry by his back line on both of Leicester's two goals Thursday. In fact, the first goal of the match was an own goal by teammate Robin Koch. Leeds have now failed to earn a winning result in five straight matches, so it may be wise to look elsewhere for fantasy keepers right now. Next up is a Sunday tilt with Fulham in Leeds.

Concedes goal to Arsenal Meslier made three saves but conceded a goal in Sunday's 1-0 defeat against Arsenal.

Impact Meslier was beaten by a Bukayo Saka strike on Sunday as Leeds are now winless in their last six Premier League games, dating back to the Chelsea win on Aug. 21. Meslier has only kept one clean sheet in that span, and on Thursday he will face 19th-placed Leicester City, which have scored 15 goals in 10 matches this season.

OCTOBER 16, 2022 • ROTOWIRE

Three saves in defeat Meslier made three saves (two goals conceded) in Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace.

Impact Meslier was beaten by strong efforts in the 24th and 76th minutes, but he also made three nice saves in this contest to keep his Leeds side within striking distance throughout. He's logged two clean sheets in eight starts while averaging just under three saves per match. Up next is a tough home matchup with Arsenal.

OCTOBER 9, 2022 • ROTOWIRE

Brilliant for clean sheet Meslier made six saves and one clearance in Sunday's 0-0 draw versus Aston Villa.

Impact Meslier has his performance of the season for his second clean sheet. The goalkeeper stopped all six shots he faced in a true bounce back after a tough loss to Brentford before the international break. Meslier is a risky fantasy play due to the volume he faces weekly, but he has the talent to turn that volume into some strong performances like Sunday's.
