Moving to Chi Town Cuypers is making a move to the MLS after agreeing on a transfer from K.A.A Gent to the Chicago Fire as a designated played on a two year deal, with an option for the 2027 season.

Impact Cuypers is moving to the United States after spending the last 11 years playing in Europe. He's played for Gent for the last year and a half, recording 90 appearances in all competitions, totaling 50 goals and 15 assists. The forward was also the top scorer in the Jupiler Pro League last campaign with 20 goals. Cuypers will also bring experience playing in a European competitions with two season in the Conference League, making 16 appearances while generating 9 goals and two assists. His six goals during the 2022/23 UECL was tied for second most that season.
