Impact Smolcic played a small rotational role, despite scoring his first Frankfurt goal. The defender simply fell out of favor and had to deal with a largely healthy defensive group ahead of him in the pecking order. The defender will likely be moved on in the summer, at least on loan, and if he isn't he likely will remain in a minor role.
