Concedes twice in rare start Valdimarsson had one save and allowed two goals in Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

Impact Valdimarsson made his second start of the season Sunday with Mark Flekken (strain) out. He did not play particularly well as he conceded two goals on just three shots on target. It's currently unclear how serious Flekken's injury is, but he has nearly two weeks until the next Premier League match at West Ham United Feb. 15.

Impact Valdimarsson entered Friday's 0-0 draw versus Brighton & Hove Albion early in the second half as first-choice Brentford keeper Mark Flekken was removed due to injury. During his first Premier League appearance, the young shot stopper made two saves over 36 minutes of play. If Flekken should remain unavailable, Valdimarsson would likely be the man in net Jan. 1 when Brentford host Arsenal.
