Extends deal through 2027-28 Ranjitsingh has signed a contract extension with New York City FC through the 2027-28 season, with an option for 2028-29, the club announced.

Impact Ranjitsingh is a 32-year-old goalkeeper who arrived in New York in January 2025, having made 19 appearances across MLS, MLS NEXT Pro, and the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup with various clubs prior to that. Sporting director Todd Dunivant pointed to the experience and leadership he brings to the goalkeeping room, calling him a culture carrier for the team. Internationally, The goalkeeper has represented Trinidad and Tobago at senior level, earning a call-up for 2016 World Cup qualifying and a spot on the roster for the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup.

Impact Ranjisingh has found his new club, remaining in the MLS to serve with NYCFC after three seasons with Toronto. He is unlikely to see much more than a similar role throughout his two-year contract with his new club.
