Transfers to Chicago Koutsias has joined the Fire on a four-year contract with the option to extend for an additional year after transferring from Greek side PAOK, the club announced Tuesday.
Impact Koutsias has scored three goals and an assist in 20 Greek Super League appearances while on-loan with Volos NPS from PAOK this season, and the 19-year-old is now moving to MLS with the Fire. It may take him a while to break into the team as he'll still have to sort out his visa and there are a few more established options up front in Kacper Przybylko and Kei Kamara at the moment, but Chicago has experience bringing in a teenage striker and helping him flourish, as they did with Jhon Duran before selling him to Aston Villa last offseason.
