Misses season finale Brillant (ankle) was not in D.C. United's match day squad in last weekend's victory against Toronto.
Impact Brillant missed the last few weeks of the season with an ankle injury, but he finished with one goal and two clean sheets in 19 MLS appearances (14 starts). The 36-year-old seems to be more of a backup in D.C.'s crowded center back pool and he might be used even less next year.

Out indefinitely with ankle injury Brillant (ankle) is out for an indefinite amount of time, meaning his season could be over.
Impact It is unclear how much longer Brillant will miss with his ankle injury, but D.C.'s regular season finale is less than two weeks away on Nov. 7. If United can climb back into the top-7 of the Eastern Conference, then Brillant would have more time to recover and appear in the playoffs, but his side currently sits two points and two places behind Atlanta in seventh.

Goes the distance in 5-2 loss Brillant scored once, took one shot (one on target) and made two tackles (two won) in the 5-2 loss to Nashville on Sunday.
Impact Brillant was tremendous in a rather poor showing from his club. The defender not only kicked off the scoring affair for D.C., but he also made two different clearances off the line to keep them in the match. Brillant is not a strong peripheral player and he never has been. However, when he does put together a string of top-notch performances, he collects stats in bunches.

Scores own goal in loss Brillant scored an own goal, took one shot off target, made four interceptions and five clearances in Saturday's 3-1 loss versus Columbus Crew.
Impact Brillant was unlucky to score an own goal Saturday, which cost his side all three points. The center back holds little fantasy value outside of racking up defensive stats and being an aerial threat on set piece situations. He has registered two goals in 19 appearances during the 2020 season.
