Questionable against Orlando LAFC manager Steve Cherundolo said Thursday that Escobar (calf) is ahead of schedule on his recovery and will be questionable for Saturday's clash against Orlando City.

Impact Escobar has missed LAFC's last two games since suffering a calf injury in early March, but he's progressing well in his rehabilitation and might even be available at the weekend.

Traded to LAFC Escobar has been traded from Atlanta United to LAFC in exchange for up to $600,000 in General Allocation Money, the club announced Sunday.

Impact Escobar tallied five goals and six assists in 81 games during his three seasons in Atlanta, and he spent 2021 on-loan with Newell's Old Boys in Argentina. The 26-year-old now returns to MLS with LAFC, which had a plethora of injuries in their defense last season.
