Impact Westfield missed the matchup against Orlando City SC while representing the USMNT during the international break but is now back in contention to resume his regular starting duties. The defender has recorded seven assists this season, the second-highest total on Philadelphia's roster, establishing himself as an important contributor from right-back. He previously represented the United States at the U20 level, registering one goal and one assist at the 2025 U20 World Cup before earning his first senior call-up. Japhet Sery was expected to provide cover during his absence, but Westfield should be in a strong position to reclaim his starting spot against Real Salt Lake.

Sporting KC has allowed a whopping 59 goals in 24 MLS matches, and has a minus-33 goal differential on the season.

Assist in another creative display Westfield assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), five crosses (one accurate) and two chances created in Wednesday's 2-2 draw against Inter Miami CF.

Impact Westfield continues to be one of the creative weapons in a team where the full backs have provided the most creative solutions, with him and Kai Wagner doing so from opposite flanks. Westfield added his fourth assist across his last six games and took another shot in the match. The full back was solid defensively as well, winning two tackles and adding three interceptions and three clearances. Westfield has created at least two chances in each of his last six appearances and made 29 crosses (six accurate) during that stretch.

Delivers one assist Westfield assisted once to go with four crosses (zero accurate) and two chances created in Saturday's 1-0 win over Seattle Sounders FC.

Impact Westfield provided the assist for Milan Iloski's opener in Saturday's 1-0 win over Seattle, delivering the long feed from the right sideline near midfield that Iloski controlled and finished with a clinical volley in the first half, also registering four crosses and two chances created across his 90 minutes in a display that underlined his importance as a creative outlet. The right back has now registered an assist in three consecutive MLS matches, establishing himself as the Union's most reliable creative presence alongside Iloski as the club looks to build on back-to-back wins following the international break.

Returns to starting XI Sunday Westfield (hip) is in the starting lineup for Sunday's meeting with Inter Miami.

Impact Westfield has been selected over Olivier Mbaizo immediately after completing his recovery from the hip issue that sidelined him in the previous couple of league contests. The young full-back is expected to feature on the right flank, which was his position in each of his last two MLS starts. With 58 crosses, 13 chances created and one assist this season, he could hold decent attacking value if he stays healthy in the future.

Dealing with hip contusion Westfield is considered day-to-day but could be ruled out of the midweek clash against Orlando because of a contusion in the hip, according to manager Bradley Carnell, Jonathan Tan...

Impact Westfield ended up with a mild injury from the blow he picked up in last weekend's loss to New England Revolution, but the next game appears to come too soon for him. Thus, Olivier Mbaizo, who replaced Westfield in the last match, might get a rare chance to feature at right-back. The 20-year-old had made 10 MLS starts prior to the issue, delivering an assist over that span.

Suffers injury in loss Westfield left with a potential injury in the 31st minute of Saturday's 2-1 loss to New England Revolution.

Impact Westfield was replaced by Olivier Mbaizo after getting hurt during his second consecutive start at right-back. If he's dealing with a significant issue, he'll be unlikely to take part in the upcoming double game week against Orlando and Columbus and may not see a lot of action until after the World Cup break. He has made a diverse impact this season, but losing him would limit the team's power mainly in defensive aspects.

MAY 9 • ROTOWIRE

Assist Saturday Westfield assisted once to go with two shots (one on goal), 18 crosses (two accurate) and four corners in Saturday's 3-1 loss against Atlanta United.

Impact Westfield would link up with Augustin Anello late into the match Saturday, earning an assist in the 87th minute. This is his first goal contribution of the season, working on the four he earned last campaign. He should remain their starting right-back this campaign, also adding a tackle won, an interception and one clearance in the defense.

Defensive gem in loss Westfield created two chances, 11 accurate crosses, two tackles won and five interceptions in Sunday's 1-0 loss versus San Jose.

Impact Westfield has been a monster over his first two appearances. Saturday's gem brought the defender to seven interceptions and four created chances through two games. Up next for Westfield is Atlanta on Saturday.

MARCH 10 • ROTOWIRE

Starting against NYCFC Westfield (hamstring) is in the starting XI for Sunday's match against NYCFC.

Impact Westfield was day-to-day heading into Sunday, but has made the call, appearing to have passed some testing. This is huge for the club as they gain back a full-back when it was looking a little dire heading into the weekend, likely to maintain this spot moving forward.

MARCH 1 • ROTOWIRE

Day-to-day Westfield (hamstring) is day-to-day, according to Joe Tansey of Bleacher Report.

Impact Westfield was a late scratch last match and is going to remain questionable, with the defender only working on the side. This will leave him as a late call to face NYCFC on Sunday, hoping to see him train further this week and return to a starting role.

FEBRUARY 25 • ROTOWIRE

Late scratch Saturday Westfield will no longer be in the squad to face D.C. United on Saturday, the club announced.

Impact Westfield appeared to be healthy after dealing with a muscular issue during the week, but he presumably felt discomfort again in warmups prior to the weekend game. The defender will consequently have to wait at least until the second week against NYC FC to make his season debut. Meanwhile, Finn Sundstrom will make a rare appearance at left-back.

FEBRUARY 21 • ROTOWIRE

Doubt for opener Westfield (hamstring) is a doubt for Saturday's season opener against D.C. United, according to the MLS injury report.

Impact Westfield is trending as a doubt for Saturday's season opener against D.C. United as he continues to manage a lingering hamstring issue. The full-back is shaping up to be a true game-time call and will likely need to clear a late fitness test before the coaching staff gives him the green light. If he cannot go, it would be a real blow for Philadelphia, as he is projected to lock down the starting left-back spot heading into the 2026 MLS season and his absence would force an immediate adjustment to the starting XI. In that scenario, Finn Sundstrom or Olivier Mbaizo would be in line for a larger role and a bump in minutes.

Will play U20 World Cup Westfield was called up by USYNT for the upcoming U20 World Cup in Chile.

Impact Westfield has been called up by the USYNT for the U20 World Cup in Chile, which will make him miss several games with Philadelphia. That said, the defender has performed decently in recent matches in the rotation, so his absence will slightly impact the starting XI, with Nathan Harriel expected to take on a larger role in the backline, likely returning to his natural right-back position while Westfield is unavailable.
