Impact Nino had been away from group training after leaving an earlier session early due to discomfort, an absence that raised some concern with the match against Real Sociedad about a week out at the time. His return to full training now confirms he has recovered, easing the need for Ezequiel Ponce to step into the starting lineup in his place.

Impact Nino raised concerns during Monday's training session when he left approximately 30 minutes before it ended due to discomfort. He remained apart from the group Tuesday, with the coaching staff set to monitor his physical condition over the coming days. With almost a week remaining before the match against Real Sociedad, his availability will depend on how he responds and whether he is able to return to group training without further issues. If Nino cannot arrive on time, Ezequiel Ponce will the main candidate to take his place in the starting eleven.

Impact Nino came through Villarreal's academy before loan spells at Mallorca and eventually a permanent move to Burgos, where he established himself as one of Segunda Division's more reliable forwards, scoring seven goals last season. With Alvaro Rodriguez and Andre Silva both departing Elche's attack, Nino could be in line for a starting role up front as the club heads into a new season in La Liga.

With Yeremi Pino winning the last spot among the forwards at Villarreal, this will be Nino's time to shine on his own.
