Makes club debut off bench Hurtado subbed into Saturday's match against Nashville SC in the 23rd minute, taking a shot in the 1-1 draw.

Impact Hurtado replaced an injured Taxiarchis Fountas (hamstring) up front in the first half of the Nashville match on Saturday to make his D.C. United debut after joining the club in late April.

Transfers to D.C. Hurtado has signed a one-year contract with the option to add another with D.C. United after transferring from USL side San Antonio FC, the club announced Saturday.

Impact Hurtado has 23 goals and 11 assists to his name in MLS across 166 appearances throughout his time with Vancouver, Sporting KC, Montreal and Columbus since 2013. The 32-year-old will bring a veteran presence to his new club D.C. United, where he should be a backup forward behind Christian Benteke and Taxiarchis Fountas.

Impact Hurtado made 14 MLS appearances (four starts) during his first full season in Columbus, and he went on a flurry of scoring three goals from May through June. The 31-year-old will definitively remain a backup option up front for the Crew behind Cucho Hernandez and Lucas Zelarayan if he indeed stays with the club for another campaign.
