Signs new contract Mayenda has signed a new contract with Sunderland until the end of the 2029-30 season, the club announced Thursday.

Impact Mayenda played a big role for the Black Cats in the 2024/25 season and bagged the goal that allowed Sunderland to return to the Premier League. He notched 10 goals and five assists across 40 league appearances last season (25 starts) and should be a regular in the club's return to the top-flight.
