Making steady improvements Nketiah finished the season with two goals and one assist in 17 EPL appearances (four starts).

Impact Nketiah also scored three times in eight Europa League matches as he played more frequently during the first half of the season. His minutes were a definite improvement over the previous season, so as long as he performs well in the summer it would make sense to see even more from Nketiah in the fall. However, the abilities of Nicolas Pepe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and a few other options make the depth chart very crowded and could prevent Nketiah from becoming a regular starter any time soon.
