Makes two saves against Milan Mascardi made two saves and allowed two goals in Sunday's 2-1 loss against AC Milan.

Impact Mascardi denied two close-range shots and added three clearances, but it wasn't enough for his side to avoid defeat during his Serie A debut. The goalkeeper, who excelled in a few of his second-division appearances for Spezia last season, has now made consecutive appearances with his new club across league and cup action. He'll hope to face a more favorable test next Saturday against a Sassuolo side that found the net once in the opening week.

Completes Torino move Mascardi has completed a permanent transfer from Spezia to Torino, his new club announced Thursday.

Impact Mascardi is a signing for the future, as the 19-year-old is a raw prospect who's not ready to play in Serie A yet. He's coming from the Serie C, so he'll need more seasoning to be a reliable first-team option for Torino. He's a strong candidate to leave the team on loan during the summer transfer window.
