Jorgen Strand Larsen - Misses penalty Friday Strand Larsen registered two shots (one on goal) and two chances created in Friday's 4-1 defeat versus France.
Impact Strand Larsen had a golden chance to pull one back early in the second half when the score was 3-1, but Mike Maignan stopped his subpar penalty shot. The Crystal Palace striker is expected to return to his regular bench role in the Round of 32 match against Ivory Coast on Tuesday, with Erling Haaland, Norway's top scorer with four goals, expected to reclaim his starting role.
JUNE 26 • ROTOWIRE
Ismaila Sarr - Scores, assists in blowout win Sarr scored one goal and assisted once from three shots and two chances created in Friday's 5-0 win against Iraq.
Impact Sarr continues to be Senegal's best player in the 2026 FIFA World Cup and has moved into the upper echelon of the goalscoring charts. The Palace winger has four goals and one assist in three matches, and he should remain a key player for the Lions of Teranga, especially since neither Sadio Mane nor Nicolas Jackson have found the back of the net so far.
JUNE 26 • ROTOWIRE
Daichi Kamada - Two chances created Kamada generated two crosses (two accurate) and two chances created in Thursday's 1-1 draw against Sweden.
Impact Kamada was decent in the midfield on Thursday as he recorded a 90-minute shift, notching two chances created and two crosses in the draw. However, he was unfortunately unable to make it a third straight game with a goal contribution, as he has two goals so far this tournament. He does remain a vital part of the midfield and should see numerous touches in the knockout stages.
JUNE 25 • ROTOWIRE
Chadi Riad - Assist from defense Riad assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal) and one chance created in Wednesday's 4-2 victory versus Haiti.
Impact Riad would see some work in the attack despite his defensive positioning, as the defender found Soufiane Rahimi for a goal in the 78th minute. He would also add a tackle won, an interception and four clearances in the defense, although the two goals allowed hurt his defensive efforts a bit. He should remain a starter as the knockouts start, with one clean sheet in three games.
JUNE 24 • ROTOWIRE
Jefferson Lerma - Limited involvement in win Lerma generated two clearancesand one interception in Tuesday's 1-0 victory over DR Congo. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 94th minute.
Impact Lerma was Colombia's least involved player on the night, operating in a deep defensive role that kept him largely out of the game. With little defensive work to show beyond two clearances and one interception, it was one of those nights where his presence was more about holding the shape than making a visible impact. He picked up his first yellow card of the tournament and had one chance created to his name.
JUNE 24 • ROTOWIRE
Daniel Munoz - Scores again at World Cup Munoz scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Tuesday's 1-0 win against DR Congo.
Impact Munoz was the decisive figure in Tuesday's 1-0 win over DR Congo, finishing clinically at the near post in the second half after Juan Quintero slipped the ball to Jhon Cordoba, whose movement in the area created the space for the Crystal Palace right-back to drive a first-time effort low into the net and send Colombia into the knockout rounds. The right-back registered two shots (one on target), two tackles and completed 47 passes across his 90 minutes, also seeing a goal disallowed for offside in the first half after he had already made his presence felt deep in Congo's half from the first minute. Munoz has now scored twice in two World Cup appearances, making him Colombia's top scorer at the tournament and his combination of defensive positioning, forward runs and clinical finishing from right-back makes him one of the most complete fullbacks remaining in the competition heading into the Group K decider against Portugal on June 27.
JUNE 24 • ROTOWIRE
Ismaila Sarr - Records brace in loss Sarr scored two goals to go with six shots (three on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Monday's 3-2 loss to Norway.
Impact Sarr bounced back from a quiet first half with a magnificent offensive effort in the final 45 minutes, firing a pair of right-footed shots into the back of the net. The winger's six shots stood out as a game-high figure, which was a particularly impressive mark considering that Erling Haaland was also on the field. The Crystal Palace man is expected to remain among his team's biggest threats, although they now have little chances of progressing beyond the final group game against Iraq.
JUNE 22 • ROTOWIRE
Daichi Kamada - Nets opening goal Kamada recorded one goal on one shot in Saturday's 4-0 win over Tunisia.
Impact Kamada would start the action early in Saturday's contest, as he wasted no time giving Japan the lead with a fourth-minute goal. This is now two goals in two games for the Japanese midfielder, only having taken two shots all torunament. He has also added two chances created in his two appearances, although an assist is yet to come.
JUNE 21 • ROTOWIRE
Jesuran Rak-Sakyi - Returning to Palace after loan Rak-Sakyi is back as part of Crystal Palace's roster after spending the past four months on loan with Championship side Stoke City, his parent team announced.
Impact Rak-Sakyi has yet to establish himself in Crystal Palace's rotation, but he contributed two goals across 801 minutes of play during his short stint in the second-tier league with Stoke City. While he holds promising qualities as an option to play on both wings, his future with the club remains unclear, and he could be relegated to a bench role if he stays in the top division.
JUNE 20 • ROTOWIRE
David Ozoh - Back with Crystal Palace Ozoh has been retained by Crystal Palace following his loan spell at Derby County.
Impact Ozoh found some consistency in the Championship last season, scoring two goals over 33 appearances (24 starts) despite featuring in a defensive midfield role. His youth and talent could be useful for his parent club, but he's far from earning a guaranteed spot for the 2026/27 campaign, possibly falling behind Adam Wharton, Daichi Kamada and Will Hughes on the depth chart if he remains in the club.
JUNE 20 • ROTOWIRE
Chadi Riad - 90 minute clean sheet Riad recorded two clearances in Friday's 1-0 win over Scotland.
Impact Riad was in the starting center-back role again Friday, starting both matches at the World Cup for Morocco thus far. He would see less work against Scotland than he did versus Brazil, only recording two clearances on his way to a clean sheet. He should maintain a starting role alongside Issa Diop, proving to be strong so far.
JUNE 19 • ROTOWIRE
Chris Richards - Records team-high seven clearances Richards generated three tackles (two won), seven clearances and two interceptions in Friday's 2-0 win over Australia. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 93rd minute.
Impact Richards hasn't shown any indications of the injury that kept him sidelined towards the end of the 2025/26 Premier League season, and he's been a solid contributor at the back for the USMNT. The Crystal Palace defender has racked up 10 clearances, three tackles and three interceptions while going the full 90 in both wins thus far.
JUNE 19 • ROTOWIRE
Jefferson Lerma - Defensive anchor in midfield Lerma registered three shots (zero on goal) and one chance created in Wednesday's 3-1 victory versus Uzbekistan.
Impact Lerma provided defensive stability in Colombia's midfield throughout the match, helping shield the back line as Uzbekistan grew into the game after Abbosbek Fayzullayev's equalizer on the hour mark. His positioning and ball-winning were important in helping Colombia regain control following a spell of pressure from the Uzbek side. Lerma's experience will be valuable as Colombia look to manage similar moments of adversity in future group games. The midfielder ended the game with three shots, five clearances and two blocks, highlighting how influencial he can be in both sides of the pitch for the Cafeteros.
JUNE 18 • ROTOWIRE
Daniel Munoz - Scores in victory Munoz scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Wednesday's 3-1 victory versus Uzbekistan.
Impact Munoz opened the scoring in the 40th minute, finishing off the end of a fluid Colombian team move to give his side a deserved first-half lead. He was directly involved in two of Colombia's three goals and was one of the most dynamic players on the pitch from his right-back position throughout the game, contributing one cross, two tackles, three interceptions and three clearances in a qualitative two sides performance for the Cafeteros. Munoz's two-way influence sets a high standard for Colombia as they look to build on a winning start to the group stage.
JUNE 18 • ROTOWIRE
Ismaila Sarr - Three shots in World Cup defeat Sarr registered three shots (zero on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Tuesday's 3-1 defeat to France.
Impact Sarr had a particularly strong first half as Senegal piled pressure on France, but they were unable to put the ball in the back of the net before France took control in the second half. One shot in the first half was a great chance which was pulled back to him, but he was only able to put it over the bar. The winger had started four games in the last World Cup and scored one goal.
JUNE 17 • ROTOWIRE
Romain Esse - Back to Crystal Palace after loan Esse reached the end of his loan to Coventry City, returning to Crystal Palace for the 2026/27 campaign, the loan club announced.
Impact Esse helped Coventry achieve promotion to the Premier League with two goals and one assist over 17 matches played (eight starts) during the previous EFL season. The 21-year-old has already seen action at the top level and could look for more involvement if he stays for a second stint with his parent team. However, he'll need to compete with more established players such as Ismaila Sarr and Yeremy Pino.
JUNE 15 • ROTOWIRE
Daichi Kamada - Score game tying goal Kamada scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal), two crosses (zero accurate) and one corner in Sunday's 2-2 draw versus Netherlands.
Impact Kamada was the hero for Japan on Saturday, delivering the game-tying goal from a set piece to secure a 2-2 draw against group favorites Netherlands. It was his only shot on target, while he also contributed two crosses and took one corner. The goal was especially surprising given that the Crystal Palace midfielder went the entire Premier League season without scoring, marking his first goal in any competition since his time with Lazio in 2023/24. Kamada isn't likely to become a consistent scoring threat moving forward, but he remains a player to monitor on all set-piece opportunities for Japan throughout the World Cup.
JUNE 14 • ROTOWIRE
Chadi Riad - Three clearances in draw Chadi Riad registered three clearances, two duels won and two interceptions in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Brazil.
Impact Brazil didn't look for Igor Thiago throughout the game, so Riad wasn't as busy as one would've expected from a center-back. That said, the Crystal Palace defender did record more stats than his partner on defense, Issa Diop. Riad should remain in the starting lineup for the June 19 matchup against Scotland.

Chris Richards - Plays 90 after injury Richards recorded a full 90 minutes in Friday's 4-1 win over Paraguay.
Impact Richards would earn the start Friday after some questions about his health following an ankle injury. However, he put all the worries to rest, as he would not just start but also play the full 90. With multiple clearances out of the box and a solid effort, he seems to be close to his regular self again. That said, he recorded three clearances, an interception and one tackle won in the defense.
JUNE 12 • ROTOWIRE
Chris Richards - Starting opener Richards (ankle) is in the starting XI for Friday's match against Paraguay.
Impact Richards is back with the USMNT as expected for their opener, as the defender takes a spot in the starting defense to face Paraguay. This is a major return for the defense as they add back their best center-back, likely to play a major role moving forward. He is partnered with Tim Ream and Alex Freeman in the defense, with Mark McKenzie likely to be added to the rotation as the tournament plays out.

Impact Richards has rejoined full training this week for the first time since picking up an ankle injury with Crystal Palace on May 17, having missed two preparatory friendlies for the World Cup as a result. The player is fit, unrestricted in terms of minutes and eager to put himself forward, which represents a major boost for the host nation ahead of coach Mauricio Pochettino's decision on whether to hand him an immediate starting role.

Evann Guessand - Set to lead front line Guessand has been named in Ivory Coast's World Cup squad and is expected to provide manager Fae with a direct and physical forward option capable of contributing throughout the com...
Impact Guessand ended the club season having spent time at both Aston Villa and on loan at Crystal Palace, contributing four goal and one assist across 35 appearances in all competitions. The striker's pace, aerial ability and physical presence give Ivory Coast a different attacking profile and his Premier League experience gives him the credentials to perform under pressure.
