Impact Irwin has failed to return to the senior team following an injury back in June. His future in the club is up in the air after he has also failed to get consistent minutes with the reserves.

Set to miss time Irwin (undisclosed) is expected to miss the next 3-5 weeks with an injury, according to Andy Greder of the Pioneer Press.

Impact Irwin had started the last five matches for Minnesota with Dayne St. Clair with the Canadian national team. He had totaled 21 saves while allowing 12 goals in that span. Until St. Clair returns, Alec Smir is set to take over the keeper duties for the side.

Impact There wasn't much Irwin could've done to stop Liam Fraser's goal, as the midfielder unleashed a beautiful shot from the edge of the box that sneaked into an impossible angle for the goalkeeper. Irwin should remain in the starting lineup as long as Dayne St. Clair remains on international duty with Canada, which could extend until the end of the team's participation in the 2024 Copa America.

Impact Irwin faced eight shots-on-target on Saturday and only managed to save four of them. The Loons backup keeper has shown that he is not the same caliber as regular starter Dayne St Clair, who is off on international duty with Canada. From four appearances (all starts) he has conceded eight (2.0 per game) and made 3.5 saves per game (64 percent).
