Set to miss time Irwin (undisclosed) is expected to miss the next 3-5 weeks with an injury, according to Andy Greder of the Pioneer Press.

Impact Irwin had started the last five matches for Minnesota with Dayne St. Clair with the Canadian national team. He had totaled 21 saves while allowing 12 goals in that span. Until St. Clair returns, Alec Smir is set to take over the keeper duties for the side.

Concedes three against Portland Timbers Irwin registered 10 saves and allowed three goals in Saturday's 3-2 defeat against Portland Timbers.

Impact Irwin recorded 10 saves and a clearance, but was unlucky to concede three goals. He has now recorded 21 saves in five appearances but has not recorded a single clean sheet. Next, he faces Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

Two saves in defeat Irwin recorded two saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Austin FC.

Impact Irwin registered at least two saves for a fourth consecutive appearance since his season debut but also has a total of 11 saves in that span. Meanwhile, this marked the second time in the four outings that he limited opponents to no more than one goal. Up next for Minnesota is a meeting with Portland on Saturday.

Five goals conceded Irwin logged four saves but conceded five goals during Minnesota United's 5-3 loss Wednesday at Dallas.

Impact As expected, Irwin continued to be Minnesota's goalkeeper while Dayne St. Clair is at the Copa America. Unfortunately for the backup, he has performed worse with each passing game, resulting in a span of matchups featuring him conceding eight goals and logging only nine saves. Irwin will try to redeem himself Saturday against Austin FC.

Impact Irwin was called upon to wear the gloves for Minnesota for the second successive match, with first-choice keeper Dayne St. Clair serving on international duty with Canada. The two matches mark the totality of Irwin's inclusion thus far in 2024. He's conceded three goals and registered five saves. Irwin will likely be in net Wednesday as Minnesota look to bounce back against Dallas who are tied for the fourth worst scoring record in MLS, having netted 20 goals through 17 matches.

Concedes once in draw Saturday Irwin made three saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus FC Dallas.

Impact There wasn't much Irwin could've done to stop Liam Fraser's goal, as the midfielder unleashed a beautiful shot from the edge of the box that sneaked into an impossible angle for the goalkeeper. Irwin should remain in the starting lineup as long as Dayne St. Clair remains on international duty with Canada, which could extend until the end of the team's participation in the 2024 Copa America.

Back to bench Irvin has been an unused option off the bench during the last two matches for Minnesota.

Impact Irvin has yet made his 2024 appearance, with Dayne St. Clair keeping his number one goalkeeping role for the team.

Won't be an option Saturday Irwin is not available for Saturday's match against Atalanta due to a thigh issue, according to the MLS injury report.

Impact Irwin will have to bow out for the weekend as he is now affected by a thigh issue. Luckily for the club, he is their second option in net, so this will not be a big loss. He will now look for a swift recovery in the meantime, hoping not to serve too long of a spell on the sidelines.

Concedes four in loss Irwin recorded four saves and allowed four goals in Sunday's 4-1 defeat versus Austin FC.

Impact Irwin faced eight shots-on-target on Saturday and only managed to save four of them. The Loons backup keeper has shown that he is not the same caliber as regular starter Dayne St Clair, who is off on international duty with Canada. From four appearances (all starts) he has conceded eight (2.0 per game) and made 3.5 saves per game (64 percent).

Two saves, one goal conceded Irwin made two saves and conceded one goal in Sunday's 4-1 win against Portland Timbers.

Impact Irwin saved shots from Portland's wide midfielders, Marvin Loria and Santiago Moreno. However, the goalkeeper was unable to prevent Franck Boli from scoring. Minnesota United's next matchup is currently scheduled to be a home game against Austin FC. Once again, Irwin is expected to be MNU's goalkeeper with Dayne St. Clair still out because of Gold Cup duties.

Impact Irwin recorded four saves and two clearances and conceded a late 98th minute equalizer to Justen Glad. This was only his second start of the season as Dayne St. Clair was unavailable for selection this week.

Impact Dayne St. Clair was called up by Canada's national soccer team, giving Irwin a starting opportunity. Though substitute Simon Becher scored past him, Irwin logged a respectable 80.0 save percentage en route to a draw. Ideally for Irwin, his latest performance will be enough to start Minnesota United's next game. However, St. Clair is expected to be available by then.

Joins Minnesota United Irwin signed with Minnesota United on a two-year contract, it was announced Tuesday.

Impact Irwin hasn't regularly started in years, but will be a capable backup for the Loons behind Dayne St. Clair. He made 15 league appearances for Colorado between 2019 and 2022.
