Injured for most of season Mavinga made 13 starts in 19 appearances during the 2023 season the Galaxy.

Impact Mavinga missed a total of 10 matches this season with injuries, resulting in just 13 starts this season. With the addition of Maya Yoshida, the defender will have to compete even harder for a starting center back role with Eriq Zavaleta after Jalen Neal undergoing groin surgery.

Joins Los Angeles Mavinga has signed a two-year contract with the Galaxy after leaving Toronto FC as a free agent, the club announced Thursday.

Impact Mavinga kept 24 clean sheets and recorded four assists across 135 MLS appearances (127 starts) during his six seasons in Toronto, winning the 2017 MLS Cup and Supporters' Shield as well as back-to-back Canadian Cups in 2017-18 with the club.
