ROTOWIRE
Left out
Taylor (undisclosed) is out for Saturday's match against Aston Villa.
Impact
Taylor is not an option after seeing a questionable tag due to a knock, with the defender left out Saturday. Luckily for the club, this is a minor absence, as he last played Jan. 4 against Brentford. That said, even when he returns, not much time is expected.

ROTOWIRE
Dealt knock
Taylor is questionable for Saturday's match against Aston Villa due to a few knocks, according to manager Simon Rusk. "Charlie's knocking about with one or two issues."
Impact
Taylor looks to be unlikely for Saturday, with the defender dealt some knock that could keep him out for the time being. The good news is this would be a minor loss, with the defender last appearing Jan. 4. That said, even if he is fit, the defender probably won't see field time.

ROTOWIRE
Signs with Southampton
Taylor signed with Southampton, following the conclusion of his contract with Burnley.
Impact
Taylor makes the switch to Southampton after the conclusion of his time with Burnley. The wing-back is a solid defensive option and showed some nice moments with Burnley, and he did enough to stay in the Premier League with recently promoted Southampton.

ROTOWIRE
Another solid campaign with Burnley
Taylor scored one goal, recorded one assist and kept two clean sheets in 28 appearances (25 starts) this past season.
Impact
Taylor put together another solid season with Burnley, highlighted by his first career Premier League goal, a strike against Bournemouth in October. He put up solid defensive numbers too, recording 35 tackles, 19 interceptions, 67 clearances and 11 blocked shots. The 30-year-old's contract expires at the end of June, although Burnley announced the club offered him an extension in May.

ROTOWIRE
Delivers three crosses
Taylor had one shot off target and attempted three crosses (one accurate) in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Everton.
Impact
Taylor attempted more crosses than any of his teammates and he now ranks joint first for crosses for Burnley over the season with 63. Despite regularly getting the ball into the box, he has only created 11 chances and has only one assist.

ROTOWIRE
Attempts 10 crosses
Taylor had 10 crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Tuesday's 1-1 draw versus Wolverhampton.
Impact
Unsurprisingly, Taylor has been Burnley's primary left-back since his return from a shoulder injury. He has been active on the flank, with at least six crosses in three of his last five starts. However, Taylor could definitely use some improvement accuracy-wise, considering only 16 percent of his crosses were on point during that five-game span.

ROTOWIRE
Back after four matches
Taylor (shoulder) is available as a substitute during Saturday's match against Arsenal.
Impact
Taylor returns after missing Burnley's last four matches with the injury. The fullback has started all 16 of his Premier League appearances, but settles for a role on the bench to start Saturday's match.

In contention Saturday
Taylor (shoulder) -- who did not return versus Liverpool on Saturday -- is expected to be back in the squad for Saturday's clash with Arsenal, Matt Scrafton of the Burnley Express...
Impact
Taylor was reportedly close to rejoining the squad against Liverpool but ultimately was held out for one more week. Before his four-match absence, the left-back had started all 16 of his Premier League appearances for the club and should be back in the starting XI after three different players filled that role in his stead.

Could return against Liverpool
Taylor (shoulder) appears to possibly be an option for Saturday's match against Liverpool, as manager Vincent Kompany declared, "I'm quite positive on Delcroix and Taylor, we'll se...
Impact
Taylor looks to be in place for a return against Liverpool, marking the possible end of a three-game absence due to a shoulder issue. This could be a nice addition back into the squad for Burnley, as he has been a regular starter when healthy this season, starting in every match he has been available for. If he does get on the team sheet Saturday, expect him to take back his role in the starting XI at left-back, taking the spot back from Lorenz Assignon and sending Vitinho back to right-back.

Out against City
Taylor (shoulder) is out for Wednesday's contest against Manchester City.
Impact
Taylor is missing his second match in a row Wednesday, having yet to recover from a shoulder injury he picked up in an FA Cup contest. The club will hope for his return in the coming days, possibly against Fulham on Saturday, as he is an important player, with the defender starting in every contest he has been available for.

Availability in doubt
Taylor (shoulder) remains a doubt against Manchester City on Wednesday after manager Vincent Kompany told reporters, "There will be some positive news in there, the list can't be l...
Impact
Taylor has missed just one Premier League match due to his shoulder problem, thanks to a lighter schedule and the club being bounced from the FA Cup. Ameen Al-Dakhil featured in the starting XI with Taylor unavailable versus Luton Town last time out and could do so again in Wednesday's clash if needed.

Out Friday
Taylor (shoulder) is out for Friday's match against Luton Town.
Impact
Taylor is missing Friday's match after going down with a shoulder issue in the days leading up to the game, missing only his second match since his three-match absence to start the season. The defender will most likely return to the team sheet for the club's next contest against Manchester City on Jan. 31, as he will have two weeks to recover. If he is available by then, expect him to start, as he has started in every match he has been an option for.

Dealing with ongoing injury
Taylor (shoulder) will be in doubt for Friday's match against Luton Town, said manager Vincent Kompany per the Burnley Express.
Impact
Taylor is in line for a fitness test ahead of Friday's clash as he continues to deal with an ongoing shoulder injury. It should not be a surprise if the defender does sit out as he has been averaging 90 minutes of play thus far, starting all 16 matches while logging in 45 clearances on the campaign. If Jordan Beyer does pass fitness, then Hannes Delcroix could see the start at left back if Taylor needs to remain out.

ROTOWIRE
Forced off in FA Cup
Taylor (undisclosed) was forced off in the second half of Friday's 1-0 FA Cup loss to Tottenham with an injury.
Impact
Taylor left the match in the 67th minute succumbing to an injury and being replaced by Ameen Al-Dakhil. Manager Vincent Kompany noted "we'll see, I hope it's not bad news" and that the injury to his left-back seemed "more chronic than acute" when asked about Taylor's injury.

ROTOWIRE
Available after suspension
Taylor is available for Saturday's match against Fulham after serving his suspension against Everton on Saturday due to yellow card accumulation.
Impact
Taylor will be returning to play for Burnley, having served his one-match ban against Everton after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Brighton. The defender had not missed a start since the second match of the season until his suspension, so he should return to the starting XI against Fulham, most likely sending Hannes Delcroix back to the bench.

Picks up suspension
Taylor will not be an option Saturday against Everton, picking up a suspension after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season against Brighton.
Impact
Taylor will be missing his first match since the start of September, receiving a one-match ban due to yellow card accumulation. The defender's absence will affect the squad, with him not missing a start in 13 straight contests. Expect Connor Roberts to get the start at left-back with Taylor out.

Assists in victory
Taylor registered an assist and sent in two crosses (one accurate) in Saturday's 5-0 win against Sheffield United.
Impact
Taylor picked up his first assist of the season when his cross was headed in by Jay Rodriguez. He has one goal so far this season and looks the most likely of Burnley's defenders to pick up attacking returns.

First strike of season in loss

Impact
Taylor did not score many fantasy points in his core defensive duties on Saturday but he did score Burnley's only goal, a beautifully taken strike from the edge of the box that originated from a corner set piece. From seven starts this was his first goal and he is yet to contribute to a clean sheet.

Assists thrice in relegation campaign
Taylor had three assists and 104 crosses in 31 league appearances (30 starts) this past season.
Impact
Taylor has been the regular at left-back for Burnley the last four seasons and outside of one month-long foot issue, he continued in that role. There's a chance he moves elsewhere this summer, but if he stays at Burnley, he'll remain in that left-back role where he should have quite a bit of success in the Championship.

ROTOWIRE
Assist to end month
Taylor logged one assist during a 2-1 win Saturday at Watford.
Impact
Jack Cork logged a header goal from an accurate Taylor cross. Surprisingly, the latter recorded one assist during Burnley's first and last English Premier League games across April. Taylor had not logged multiple EPL assists from August 2021 to March 2022.

ROTOWIRE
Assists Wednesday
Taylor provided one assist on five crosses and one chance created during Wednesday's 3-2 win over Everton.
Impact
Taylor provided an assist on five crosses, though all five of the crosses were relatively poor, and off-target. The wing-back has largely been wasteful of late, even when given a plethora of opportunities, that said the woeful Everton defense is proving to be a cure-all for all out-of-form players. Taylor will have another favorable clash with Norwich up next.

ROTOWIRE
Busy on both sides
Taylor sent in four inaccurate crosses and made three tackles during Saturday's 2-0 loss to Brentford
Impact
Taylor fell victim to yet another poor Burnley showing, yet he was one of the few busy players on the pitch. The left-back was involved in the play on both sides of the ball and continuously pressured the Brentford midfield. Taylor will be a fringe fantasy play against Southampton on Saturday.

Hopeful to return at Palace
Taylor (foot) is hopeful to return to the squad for Saturday's trip to Crystal Palace, according to manager Sean Dyche. "Charlie is back training, it's a strange foot injury but it...
Impact
It's been a month of iffy updates from Dyche, but it appears Taylor is getting better and at least training. However, given Burnley's recent run of form, there's a chance Erik Pieters stays in the starting XI, something that should be made known in Taylor's first match back.
