Suspended amid investigation MLS announced Friday that it is suspending Dominguez from all team activities pending an investigation into possible off-field misconduct.
Impact Dominguez was Austin's joint-highest scorer last season with seven goals and three assists, and he scored a brace in the 2022 opener from the left wing. He will be suspended indefinitely while this investigation is ongoing, and his absence will mean an increase in goalscoring responsibility for the likes of Sebastian Driussi, Maximiliano Urruti, Diego Fagundez and his likely replacement in the XI Ethan Finlay.
