Option off bench Mailula (lower body) is on the bench for Saturday's match with Cincinnati.

Impact Mailula is back on the bench, as expected, for Saturday's match. The forward might not be rushed back into major minutes but he should be fit enough to come off the bench and test his injury during the second half.

Impact Mailula has only appeared once since arriving to the MLS as he has been dealing with a lower body injury. He is aiming for a return Saturday after training fully with the team Friday. If the forward is fit to play, then he is expected to start on the bench with C.J. Sapong expected to start with Lorenzo Insigne (lower body) likely to sit out again.

Impact Mailula is the latest player to join the MLS after spending his youth career in South Africa. During his first season with Mamelodi Sundowns FC, he made 18 appearances while scoring two goals. He also recently made his first appearance with the South African national team. The 22-year-old will be a great weapon to use in the attack with his youth and talent shown at the international level.
