Dealt to Montreal Vera was traded to Montreal for up to $1.5 million GAM from Salt Lake, the club announced.

Impact Vera is a key piece of Montreal's rebuild and they made targeting him their main focus early. The defender projects as an immediate starter and should be a huge part of the team. He signed a deal with Montreal through the 2027/28 campaign after three seasons in MLS with Salt Lake.

Contract option picked up Vera's option for 2026 was picked up, the club announced.

Impact Vera will return to Real Salt Lake for the 2026 season after that his option was exercised.
