Acquired by Orlando Ojeda is heading to Orlando City after transferring from Real Salt Lake for the 2026 season, his new team announced Friday.

Impact Ojeda generated two goals while averaging 36.4 passes, 4.4 balls recovered and 1.2 tackles per game during the previous MLS campaign. Additionally, the central midfielder has been regularly called up to the Paraguayan national team in recent action. He'll compete for a starting spot on an Orlando side that also includes Eduard Atuesta and Joran Gerbet (knee).

Contract option exercised Ojeda's option for 2026 was picked up, the club announced.

Impact Ojeda will return to Real Salt Lake for the 2026 season after that his option was exercised. The midfielder has been an undisputed starting figure of the midfield of RSL since three seasons now and will hold that role next season as well. In 2025, Ojeda contributed two goals from 36 shots and created 25 chances in 31 appearances.
