Injury deemed serious Kamara has been declared to have suffered a significant knee ligament injury following his early exit from Sunday's 2-1 loss to Manchester United, the club confirmed Monday. Impact Kamara's injury did not look good to start, and those concerns were confirmed Monday, now being set for a period on the sidelines due to a knee issue. The midfielder is still yet to undergo further inspection with a knee specialist, so a timetable for his return is still unknown, but he can be expected to miss anywhere from one month to the rest of the season. This will be a massive loss for Villa moving forward, now being without one of their regular starters in the midfield during the middle of somewhat of a slouch, dropping points in three of their past five matches after once being in the title race. Youri Tielemans and Jacob Ramsey will be his most likely replacements while he is out, with Nicolo Zaniolo also being an option despite playing more in an attacking role.
