Impact Wood ended his first season in MLS with three goals and an assist in 20 appearances (seven starts) for Salt Lake, none bigger than the late winner he scored against Sporting KC in the Western Conference semifinals. The 29-year-old is a dangerous option off the bench, and he will hope to be more available next year after missing about two months in 2021 with an undisclosed injury.
