The coach's shift to a back four has relegated him to the bench for the last three matches, with Victor Chust and natural midfielder Federico Redondo preferred in central defense. Redondo's red card in the last outing could offer him a path back into the starting lineup, though he must impress to retain a place while also fending off competition from Kevin Lomonaco.
