Impact Kamungo made his first career MLS, replacing Jesus Ferreira, who was on international duty with USMNT, and made most of the opportunity, attempting a career-high four shots. In the 56th minute, the forward appeared at the right place to slot the ball home after a teammate nodded it towards him off a throw in. This was the first goal of the game for FC Dallas and the second over nine appearances this season for Kamungo, who may have done well enough to remain in the lineup for the upcoming matches, at least until Ferreira returns.
