GAME LOG

Productive at left back Saturday Davies recorded three shots (one on goal), seven crosses (one accurate) and three chances created in Saturday's 2-1 loss against Wolverhampton.
Impact Davies found himself back in the starting XI Saturday with Destiny Udogie (undisclosed) unavailable. He had by far his most productive attacking outing of the season as he set season highs in shots (three), chances created (three) and crosses (seven). Udogie's injury does not appear to be serious and with an upcoming off-week for Spurs, Davies may return back to the bench next time out.
FEBRUARY 17, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Returns to squad Davies (hamstring) stayed on the bench for Friday's FA Cup match against Manchester City.
Impact Davies was back in the squad Friday after missing about a month with a hamstring injury. Unfortunately for him, he's further down the depth chart compared to a month ago and he could struggle for minutes with a healthy Micky van de Ven and Radu Dragusin now an option.
JANUARY 26, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Back in training Davies (hamstring) returned to training this week and could return to the team for an upcoming contest, according to manager Ange Postecoglou.
Impact It's a positive sign on Davies that his recovering is going well, as he was originally expected to miss at least a month with the injury. It's been about 20 days since suffering the issue, though unfortunately for him the addition of Radu Dragusin likely means he's further down the depth chart than prior to injury.
JANUARY 25, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Set for month out Davies (hamstring) is expected to miss four-to-five weeks, according to manager Ange Postecoglou. "Ben has got a hamstring injury so it'll probably be around four or five weeks (...
Impact Davies will miss a little over a month with the muscular problem. It's a significant blow but not as serious as originally feared as he won't be spending months on the sideline. The defender will likely miss at least three Premier League matches, opening the door to more minutes for new signing Radu Dragusin.
JANUARY 12, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Suffers injured hamstring Davies suffered a hamstring injury during Friday's 1-0 win over Burnley in the FA Cup, according to manager Ange Postecoglou. "Ben Davies looks like he's done his hamstring."
Impact Davies is the next in line of a seemingly endless stream of injured Tottenham defenders. There's not going to be any timeline on his return until he can undergo some scans and examinations but the initial outlook seems less than positive for Davies.
JANUARY 5, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Scores in Thursday's loss Davies scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) in Thursday's 4-2 defeat to Brighton.
Impact Davies scored his first goal of the season Thursday, a header (assisted by Pedro Porro) in the 85th minute to cut the deficit to 4-2 and briefly give Spurs the hope of a comeback. While his defensive stats were not particularly poor (two tackles, one interception and one clearance), his side gave up four goals in the loss as Brighton had its way with Spurs' injury-depleted backline.
DECEMBER 29, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Starting versus Wolverhampton Davies is in the XI to face Wolverhampton on Saturday.
Impact Davis is fit after missing the previous game and will get the nod thanks to a few absences in the back for Tottenham. He has tallied four tackles, four clearances, and two blocks in five appearances (one start) so far.

Impact Davies is fit once more, in a crucial turn for the club after Micky van de Ven (hamstring) suffered a long-term injury and Cristian Romero was suspended. Davies will likely be brought back into the starting XI immediately for Saturday's trip to Wolves, even if he isn't fully fit.
NOVEMBER 10, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Remains sidelined Davies (strain) is out for Monday's match against Chelsea.
Impact Davies was kept out of the team sheet on Monday after picking up a knock in training during the week. Luckily for Tottenham, his absence shouldn't affect the squad at all, with Iyenoma Destiny Udogie breaking back into the squad. When Davies returns healthy, he will most likely be sent straight to the bench.
NOVEMBER 6, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Listed as doubtful Davies has picked up a knock that prevented him from training, leaving him unlikely to play Monday against Chelsea, according to manager Ange Postecoglou. "Ben Davies has got a bit...
Impact Davies only got the start last match for the injured Iyenoma Destiny Udogie (undisclosed), coming off the bench his other four games played. He should not expected a bigger role this campaign even after starting 36 of the 31 contests during the 2022/23 campaign.
NOVEMBER 2, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Forces own goal in win Davies registered two shots (zero on goal) in Saturday's 2-0 win over Manchester United.
Impact Davies' shot in the 83rd minute was kicked into the back of the net by Lisandro Martinez for Spurs' second goal of the match. It was one of two shots he took in his mere 20 minutes of action, but seeing him get forward was a positive sign since he has not done it much during his time in North London. While Davies is not likely to be a consistent starter due to the addition of Destiny Udogie, his ability to play at both left-back and center-back means he will still see the pitch a decent amount this season.
AUGUST 19, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Another solid season at Spurs Davies scored two goals, recorded two assists and kept nine clean sheets in 31 appearances (26 starts) this past season.
Impact Davies recorded four goal contributions this past season, tied for his second most in his eight seasons at Tottenham. He also kept nine clean sheets, a slight downgrade from his 11 last seasons. With Ange Postecoglou being appointed as manager, Davies may see less playing time as the team transitions from three at the back to Postecoglou's preferred four at the back.

Impact Davies kept a clean sheet Saturday, his first in the league since Feb. 26. He recorded two interceptions and two clearances on defense, and added one chance created and two inaccurate crosses on the attack. He also picked up a yellow card in the 83rd minute, his fourth booking of the season.

Available from bench Davies is fit and in the match day squad to face Newcastle on Sunday.
Impact Davies returns from a hamstring injury which has kept him out of Spurs' previous three matches. The defender starts from the bench with Tottenham using a back-four setup on Sunday.
APRIL 23, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
In contention Sunday Davies (hamstring) could rejoin first-team training ahead of Sunday's clash with Newcastle United. Manager Cristian Stellini told reporters, "Ben is very close to coming back. Tomo...
Impact Considering Davies has missed the last three contests and hasn't gotten onto the pitch for Spurs since March 18 against Southampton, he may have to settle for a spot on the bench before being truly in the mix to reclaim his spot in the starting XI. With a mid-week clash versus Manchester United on Thursday, the club would certainly benefit by getting Davies back in the mix.
APRIL 21, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Stepping up recovery Davies (hamstring) is stepping up his recovery and was pictured on the pitch with a ball.
Impact Davies probably has another week before he can train, but it's a good sign that he's on the pitch alone and able to put in work. There's a slight chance he'll be ready to start before the month is up, but given the play of Ivan Perisic and the center-backs, there's no reason to force a return with a month remaining in the season.
APRIL 14, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Ruled out 4-6 weeks Davies (hamstring) is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a hamstring injury he suffered just before the international break against Southampton, Football.London reported Thursday.
Impact Davies had already withdrawn from the Welsh National Team this window after getting injured in the first half of last weekend's draw against Southampton, and he's now expected to be sidelined until late April at the very earliest. This a big blow for Spurs as Davies has started 10 of the club's last 11 games across the Premier League and UCL dating back to mid-January. His absence will put more responsibility on Clement Lenglet in the back-three and Ivan Perisic at left wing-back.
MARCH 23, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Withdraws from national team injured Davies (hamstring) will not link up with the Welsh National Team during the March window after suffering an injury in Saturday's draw against Southampton.
Impact Davies had to come out of Saturday's match in the first half due to a hamstring injury that has now ruled him out through the international break. He will be questionable to return by the April 3 clash against Everton at the resumption of the club season.
MARCH 20, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Leaves early against Southampton Davies was forced off in the first half of Saturday's match against Southampton due to injury.
Impact Davies left the match in the 37th minute after succumbing to injury and being replaced by Ivan Perisic. The wing-back has just over two weeks to recover following the international break.
MARCH 18, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Assist and clean sheet Davies recorded one assist on one chance created, had five crosses (all inaccurate) and kept a clean sheet in Sunday's 2-0 win over West Ham.
Impact Davies assisted the opening goal Sunday, as his pass found a wide open Emerson in the 56th minute. It marks his second assist of the season, to go along with his two goals. Davies also took one shot (off target) and had five crosses (all inaccurate) in the match. He contributed to the clean sheet as well, as he made six clearances in his 90 minutes of action.
FEBRUARY 20, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Quiet in loss Davies had one shot (zero on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Saturday's 4-1 defeat against Leicester City.
Impact Davies had a tough time out against Leicester struggling to get much done and being undone defensively throughout. It was little more than a day to forget for the central defender who will retain a nailed-on role as Spurs head into Champions League action against AC Milan.

Appears off bench Davies played 24 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Nice in a friendly.
Impact Davies came off the bench to play 24 minutes during Wednesday's draw. The defender looked fully fit and should be ready to return and take a major role in the starting XI when the Premier League resumes on Boxing Day.
DECEMBER 22, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Ready to play Davies (abodmen) has returned to full fitness ahead ahead of Wednesday's friendly against Nice, according to manager Antonio Conte.
Impact Davies picked up an injury in the final group stage game of the World Cup against England but has since trained with his teammates. When competitive matches begin again for the Dec. 26 contest at Brentford, Davies will be ready to start as needed.
DECEMBER 20, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Returns to training Davies (abdomen) was pictured in training with Tottenham on Tuesday.
Impact Davies was considered a doubt to be fit in time for Spurs' Boxing Day clash against Brentford after picking up an abdominal injury in Wales' World Cup defeat against England, but his return to training on Tuesday is a good sign of his progress.

Doubt to play Boxing Day Davies is now considered a doubt to be ready when the Premier League returns Dec. 26 at Brentford due to a stomach injury suffered in the Nov. 29 loss to Wales to England, accordin...
Impact Davies was a regular starter for club and country over the first half of the season so his absence is likely to require changes for Spurs in their next competitive games. Things will depend on the fitness of those still at the World Cup or not, so Cristian Romero, Eric Dier, Clement Lengley and Davinson Sanchez all have the potential to start pending the status of Davis by late-December.
