Impact Brereton Diaz was not playing much in Spain and didn't score a single goal during the first half of the 2023-24 season, so his departure, even if it's on a temporary basis, is not surprising. Brereton Diaz returns to England, where he lived the best moments of his career while playing for Blackburn Rovers in the Championship. He should be a reliable presence upfront for the Blades, as they currently feature one of the worst attacks in the Premier League this season.
