Back from AFCON Bebe is in the squad to face Mallorca on Sunday.

Impact Bebe returns after missing Rayo's last four matches while at AFCON with Cape Verde. The forward has yet to start a match for Rayo this season as a backup option at the club.

Called up for Cape Verde Bebe was called up for AFCON 2023 with Cape Verde, and will miss most of January.

Impact Bebe will be away for at least a pair of matches at AFCON as he heads off to national team duty. It's possible that he is back as soon as a Jan. 27 trip to Sociedad. That said he could be back during a Jan. 31 trip to Atleti barring a deep knockout stage run.

Impact Bebe set a new season-high with eight crosses delivered despite playing only 21 minutes off the bench. However, none of these crosses found a mark, as he failed to create a goal-scoring opportunity.

Impact Bebe saved Rayo from the loss as he scored in the final minutes of the match Sunday. It was also his second goal in a row off the bench, scoring twice in just six minutes of play. He has yet to start a game this season as he is only used as a super sub for the team.
