Makes three tackles in draw Barnes registered one off-target shot, one chance created, three tackles (one won) and a yellow card in Sunday's 1-1 draw to Leeds.

Impact Barnes wasn't very active on offense and couldn't help them earn three points at home. The forward has yet to score or assist in the season, but received his first yellow card in the proccess. He will look to get on the scoresheet when they visit Everton on Sep 13.

Impact Barnes played the full 90 and led Burnley in scoring chances created. He was a substitute in the first match so it's positive to see him come back into the side. His next chance to start will come Sunday against Leeds United.

Impact Barnes missed over two months of the season but a thigh injury in February of 2021 effectively cut his campaign short as he was no longer fit enough to start more matches upon his return in May. Over the past two seasons, Barnes has scored nine goals in 41 appearances. If he can manage to stay fit and play in over 30 league games, then there's a reasonable chance that Barnes will score close to 10 goals, as he last reached that mark in the 2018/19 season with 12 goals in 37 games.

Impact Barnes subbed into Saturday's game in the 65th minute and he looked good in what was his longest appearance since suffering a thigh injury in February. He will hope to be fit enough to start his side's last games of the season against Liverpool and Sheffield.
