Five crosses in full debut Robertson generated five crosses (one accurate) and two corners in Saturday's 3-0 loss to Brentford.
Impact Robertson started the season opener over Destiny Udogie at left back and of all the new Spurs' signings making their debuts, looked the best. He managed five crosses and one chance created on the attack, unsurprisingly adding an attacking spark that the team desperately needed. While he was certainly not at his best on the defensive end, he made a couple impressive plays and proved he still has something to give on that end of the pitch as well. Robertson was brought in to the club for his leadership as much as his play, and it seems like he has some work to do to get the Tottenham defense in sync after a very poor start to the season.

Impact Robertson was forced off at halftime of Scotland's World Cup defeat to Brazil with an ankle issue, which was a concerning start to his Tottenham career before he had even featured for the club. However, the turnaround has been smooth, as he returned to training shortly after and made his debut off the bench in Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Sydney FC, which Spurs won 4-2 on penalties. He entered in the 66th minute and immediately took the captain's armband. He created two chances, converted his spot kick in the shootout and looked lively down the left. Head coach Roberto De Zerbi said afterward that he could be in line to start Saturday against Chelsea, though he emphasized that workloads are still being carefully managed for all the players.

Trains on grass Robertson (ankle) was back on grass in pre-season training, according to his club.
Impact Robertson was forced off in a World Cup match with Scotland due to an ankle injury, but is back in training for the Spurs, as he was pictured working on grass. This is good news for the summer signing, as he appears to already be close to fitness and is likely to be deemed fit before the end of the pre-season. Following his transfer, he is looking to find a new role with a former rival, although he will have to compete Destiny Udogie for time.

Impact Robertson showed no obvious signs of injury during the first half before the unexpected withdrawal, leaving his status uncertain heading into Scotland's tense wait to see if they qualify as one of the best third-placed teams. The captain's situation will be assessed over the coming days, with Scotland's World Cup future now hanging in the balance regardless of his fitness.

Two crosses vs Morocco Robertson had two crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Friday's 1-0 loss to Morocco. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 65th minute.
Impact After a strong opening match versus Haiti, Robertson was more quiet in Friday's loss to Morocco. Though he finished the match with two crosses and one chance created on the attack, there wasn't a specific moment where he was particularly close to recording an assist. Barring an early blunder that led to the lone goal, the Scottish defense played fairly well and Robertson did his part with one clearance and one interception. He was also booked for pulling down Achraf Hakimi in the 65th minute, his first yellow of the tournament. The Scottish captain will need to be at his absolute best on both ends of the pitch Wednesday versus Brazil, a match his side needs to get something out of to guarantee a spot in the knockouts.

Andy Robertson joins Tottenham! Spurs confirm agreement as Roberto De Zerbi hails 'outstanding' former Liverpool star
Signs with Tottenham Robertson has joined Tottenham on Friday.
Impact Robertson's contract at Liverpool expires on June 30, and the Scotland left-back will continue playing for a prominent Premier League club. The Spurs escaped relegation in the final week of the 2025/26 season, and signing Robertson will add some much-needed experience to a backline that needs leadership -- even if Robertson isn't the player he once was during his prime. Robertson should see regular time on the left side of the Spurs defense in 2026/27.

Nets emotional goal Robertson scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal), two crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-1 win over Crystal Palace.
Impact Robertson is departing Liverpool at the ends of the season, and he got a huge goal on a classic Liverpool counter-attack during Saturday's clash. The left-back finished nicely into the bottom corner of the goal and celebrated wildly. Robertson has a couple more chances to add to his Liverpool tally, but isn't nearly as much of an offensive option at this point in his career.
