Impact Privett will be back in Charlotte for 2025 after his option was picked up. The defender has taken a key role in the starting XI in his second season in Charlotte, making 33 starts. He will continue to play a major part as Charlotte hope to build off this playoff appearance.

Luckily, it does not look like it is anything to worry about ahead of Saturday's final game before the Leagues Cup break. The defender had played in every minute of every match prior to Wednesday, averaging about four clearances per contest.

Injured knee Privett subbed out in the 73rd minute Wednesday with a knee injury. According to head coach Dean Smith, he "felt his knee open up slightly", per Nicky Wolcott of The Observer.

Impact Privett had to be taken off before the match ended with knee discomfort. This could leave him out for Saturday's match, especially after starting every match for Charlotte this season. If this is the case, the Bill Tuiloma and Adilson Malanda could be the pair to start at center back for the clash with Austin.

Impact Privett was his usual imposing self in the backline, piling on defensive volume in a tough draw. He will continue to be the number one defender in the back line, emerging him as one of the leaders on the team.
