Re-signs with NYC FC Perea signed with NYC FC on a deal through 2027/28, the club announced.

Impact Perea's contract option for 2026 was declined, but the club and player remained in negotiations. The midfielder now gets a new deal with NYC FC, and should be straight back in a large role for 2026. He made 27 appearances last season before an ankle injury cut his season short.
