Jamaica's Amari’i Bell scores to cut Panama's lead 2-1

Decent season prior to injury Bell kept one clean sheet and recorded 50 tackles, 25 interceptions, 55 clearances and 15 blocked shots in 21 appearances (all starts) this past season.

Impact Bell started every match he was available in, mainly at left-sided center back while mixing in some time at left-back and left midfield. Unfortunately for him he missed significant time with injury, including the last 12 matches of the season after undergoing surgery on his hamstring. With his team being relegated while he was out injured, he will now look for a healthy season in the Championship, a competition where he helped keep 37 clean sheets in 88 starts across the previous two seasons with Luton.

Impact Bell looks to possibly have played his last minutes of the season, as he just underwent surgery following the hamstring issue he picked up against Aston Villa on March 2. This is just another unfortunate turn of events for the Hatters, as they have now most likely lost a regular starter for the rest of the season while half of their players in the defense still carry injury tags. It has still been yet to be confirmed if the defender will return this season, although it is very likely he won't, as with only three months left in the season and a three-month-long recovery process on the horizon, it can be assumed he will be retired for the remainder of the campaign.
