Leo Baptistao - Registered in time Baptistao has been registered with La Liga ahead of Monday's match against Elche, according to Rafa Gongora of La Voz de Almeria.

Impact Baptistao is the first of the summer signings to be registered for league play under rules that have restricted much of the league. He'll now compete with Largie Ramazani and Dyego Sousa in the forward rotation though Baptistao could drop into midfield given his reputation as a playmaking forward.

Houboulang Mendes - Not cleared by league Mendes has yet to be registered with La Liga and as such is likely to be unavailable for Monday's trip to Elche, according to Rafa Gongora of La Voz de Almeria.

Impact Mendes missed the opener against Real Madrid on Sunday for the same reason and will remain out until this situation is cleared. He and some of his teammates aren't the only ones to go through the new league rules and struggle to meet them, though there should be a resolution soon.
