Joining Austin Ocampo-Chavez has signed a one-year contract with Austin FC with the option to further extend for an additional two seasons, the club announced Tuesday.

Impact Ocampo-Chavez was released by the Sounders this offseason and is now signing with Austin FC. The 20-year-old has three MLS appearances to his name from the 2019 campaign, but he will definitely be a depth option behind Maximiliano Urruti and Moussa Djitte up front at his new club.

Released from Seattle Ocampo-Chavez's contract option for 2023 has been declined by the Sounders and he will become a free agent in November.

Impact Ocampo-Chavez only made three appearances for Seattle's senior team back in 2019 after coming up through the academy, and the 20-year-old forward will now enter free agency during the offseason.
