Impact Thiede was part of the Bochum academy at a young age, but bounced around from organizations until joining SC Freiburg in 2019. From there, he was sent to 3 . Liga side SC Verl in 2021, the third tier of German football. However, when Thiede joined the club, they were part of Regionalliga Sudwest, the fourth tier of professional football. He led the team to promotion that year after winning the Champion Regionalliga Sudwest . The keeper made 56 appearances and has developed his skills to be brought back up to the Bundesliga.
