Making progress in recovery Primo (shoulder) is progressing well in his recovery from surgery undergone in April, according to coach Luis Castro. "Primo is progressing well."

Impact Primo has been sidelined for several months after undergoing shoulder surgery in April and has yet to receive clearance to return to competitive action. Coach Castro's latest comments suggest the goalkeeper is making encouraging progress in his rehabilitation, although no specific timetable has been provided for his return to full training or matchday availability. Primo served as Levante's third-choice goalkeeper last season behind Mathew Ryan and Pablo Cunat, meaning his continued absence has had limited impact on the team's goalkeeping rotation. Once fully recovered, he is expected to compete for a similar reserve role.
