Janine Sonis makes her FOX Sports analyst debut as a match analyst for the network’s coverage of the CONMEBOL Women’s Copa America 2025™. Sonis currently plays forward for the Canadian Women’s National Team and Racing Louisville FC in the NWSL.

She was a key player for Team Canada as they won the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 and bronze in Rio 2016. She has played in three Olympic games and represented Canada at the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019™.

Janine grew up in Colorado playing for Real Colorado and went on to graduate with a media strategies degree from Texas Tech. She was drafted to the Houston Dash in 2016 and played with Sky Blue FC, Manchester City FC and the Portland Thorns before joining Racing Louisville in August of 2024.

Janine has previously worked as an analyst for the UEFA EURO 2020™, FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ and FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™.
