Daniella Lopez Guajardo features prominently on FOX Deportes’ soccer broadcasts.  She has served as the network’s play-by-play voice for Liga MX Femenil matches since 2022

She also made history in 2023 as the first female broadcaster to call a men’s match when she announced the Liga MX match between Santos Laguna and Monterrey.

Born in Torreon, Mexico, Lopez Guajardo joined the network in 2019 as part of the network’s Liga MX coverage with a focus on the matches of her hometown club, Santos Laguna.  With FOX Deportes, she has covered numerous key matches including the 2021 Torneo Clausura final between Santos and Cruz Azul.

She also regularly appears on EL ENTRETIEMPO and TOTAL SPORTS 360.

Lopez Guajardo began her television career with TV Azteca Laguna as a sports host before moving to Mexico City at only 19 years old to join Televisa Deportes as host of Zona Puma, a program dedicated to the popular Mexican club.

She then joined Univision Deportes and worked as a reporter covering Pumas as well as Pachuca, Puebla and Toluca.  While at Univision she covered Liga MX finals, CONCACAF Champion League finals and Mexican National Team matches.

Lopez Guajardo also won a Sports Emmy Award for her studio work on the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She also became the first women to call a FIFA World Cup match in Spanish in the United States.
