
Townsend Bell, a native of San Luis Obispo, California, joined FOX Sports as a race analyst for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES in 2025, the inaugural season for the series on FOX.
Bell, a versatile American racer and the 2001 Indy Lights Champion, has competed in 10 Indianapolis 500s with a best qualifying position of 4th and a best finishing position of 4th.
The California native started in professional sports car racing in 2012, winning the prestigious 12 Hours of Sebring on his first attempt and went on to score victories in the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the IMSA GTD Championship.
Making his television debut for Sky Sports in Europe, Bell also worked for NBC Sports as an NTT INDYCAR SERIES analyst and SPEED Channel as part of the network’s F1 coverage.
Bell resides in California with his wife Heather and sons Jaxon and Jensen.
